Fields of activity
- assurance of the unity of measurements and transferring the sizes of measurement units to territorial bodies, departmental metrological services, enterprises and organizations in the field of electrical, magnetic and radio electronic measurements;
- fundamental and applied research in the field of electrical, magnetic and radio electronic measurements;
- establishment, improvement, maintenance and application of national and secondary standards of measurement units in the field of electrical, magnetic and radio electronic measurements;
- establishment of high-accuracy measuring equipment, systems of transferring the sizes of measurement units from standards to working measuring devices in the field of electrical, magnetic and radio electronic measurements;
- metrological services in accordance with the accreditation field (certification);
- participation in international scientific and technical cooperation, conducting of comparisons of national standards with international standards and standards of other countries; development, presentation and maintenance of CMC in the corresponding kinds of measurements;
- development of normative documents in the field of standardization;
- updating of valid norms, regulations and procedures in the field of standardization, their harmonization with international documents and implementation into calibration practice in the corresponding kinds of measurements;
- development of normative documents according to the plan of national standardization;
- expertise of intergovernmental and international normative documents for the purpose of determining the appropriateness of their application in Ukraine.
