State Primary Standard of Unit Volume of Liquid

Up to 50 kg
Up to 2000 kg

The state primary standard of liquid volume unit (DETU 03-03-13) reproduces a unit of liquid volume using the world constant - the density of distilled water. The unit of mass is obtained from the secondary standard of the unit of mass of VETU 02-01-04-02.

The standard is based on two scales-comparators with the largest weighing limit of 50 kg and 2000 kg. With the use of these scales calibration of reference meters of the 1st category - with a capacity of 1 dm3, 2 dm3, 5 dm3, 10 dm3, 20 dm3, 25 dm3on scales with argest weighing limit 50 kg and a capacity of 50 dm3, 100 dm3, 200 dm3, 500 dm3 and 1000 dm3on scales with argest weighing limit 2000 kg.

In addition to scales, the standard includes sets of weights, thermometers, barometer, distiller, tanks for storage of distilled water and other equipment.

Now international comparisons on the static volume of the liquid are carried out using as reference standards the comparison of reference meters of the 1st category with a capacity of 5 dm3, 10 dm3, 20 dm3.
